Nadene Ghouri, a British-Afghan, is an award-winning correspondent and author; former correspondent of both the BBC and Al Jazeera English. Currently freelances for several leading publications, including the Mail on Sunday and The Guardian. She has co-written two bestselling books on Afghanistan. She is highly regarded as a regional specialist, having lived and worked in both Afghanistan and Pakistan since 2001. She is also an experienced media development consultant and storytelling trainer. She has held senior strategic and peacebuilding communications’ roles on projects across Asia, the Middle East and Africa. She holds a BA in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Screenwriting.
